Critical Care APC

Our highly experienced clinicians deliver the most up-to-date, comprehensive care in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. The Critical Care APC team at Lehigh Valley Hospital works directly with pulmonary and critical care physicians on site and in the Advanced ICU- our tele ICU program.

We are looking to add an experienced APC to this team. 

In a Critical Care ICU at LVH-Muhlenberg, you will experience:

Schedule

• This is a Night shift position - 7pm -7am.
• Work night shift in a 27 day block period (13 blocks/ year  - avg 9 shifts per month)
• Weekday and Weekend availability is required.
• Must work one winter holiday & one summer holiday
• Call is required 

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform ICU Admissions and consultations.
• Evaluate and treat any acute issues on the ICU service nightly
• Collaborate with Night physician and other consultants

Providers are expected to do procedures including:

• Central lines
• Arterial lines
• Hemodialysis lines

Qualifications

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified 
• A valid PA Medical License, or ability to obtain one,  is required
• Permitted to work within the USx
