ICU Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: ICU Nurse Practitioner - Mid/Night Shifts

Position Details:
We’re seeking experienced ICU Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team at a Level 2 facility in Alexandria, LA. This is a full-time, mid- and night-shift position in a 346-bed hospital with a dedicated ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care support with the assistance of a physician for procedures (e.g., lines)
• Assist Intensivist in a 34-bed ICU, averaging 4 admissions per night and maintaining a daily census of 20-30 patients
• Collaborate with a trauma surgeon on call for complex cases
• 10-hour shifts starting in January 2025, with a focus on mid and night shifts

Qualifications:

• Critical Care certification or at least 2+ years of ICU experience as an NP
• Must meet Louisiana requirements 
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred
