ChristianaCare Vascular Interventional Radiology is looking for a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their expanding care team at Christiana & Wilmington Hospitals. The APC will perform and collaborate with an attending Vascular Interventionalist to provide acute care services to include daily patient rounds, consultative services, procedural updates, admits, and discharges. The selected candidate will also perform procedures as needed to include but not limited to disc exchange, drain management, paracentesis and other procedures as allowed by licensure and credentialing.
This position is a 10 -hour day shift with weekend and holiday requirements. Looking for experienced candidates with Vascular Interventional experience, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements:
- Completion of a master’s degree program in nursing or as physician assistant. Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner as set forth by the Delaware Board of Nursing OR Licensure as a Physician Assistant by the Delaware Medical Board
- Prefer at least 2-3 years of experience working in an acute care setting; previous experience in radiology/surgery highly desired.
- ACLS required
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
